Gaza Strip – In a significant international collaborative effort, the air forces of Jordan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar executed a joint airborne operation to deliver aid over Gaza, aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the residents of the enclave.

King Abdullah II of Jordan actively participated in the air drops, a gesture that the Jordanian Armed Forces stated reaffirms Jordan’s continued support for the Palestinian people. The operation’s primary goal is to ensure that aid reaches Gaza’s inhabitants through all available means.

According to the Jordan News Agency, six C130 aircraft took off from Amman, including three from the Royal Jordanian Air Force and three others from the UAE, Egypt, and France.

This humanitarian aid operation is part of a broader international effort, involving both regional allies and international partners, to provide relief to the people in Gaza.

The Egyptian Armed Forces also announced their participation in this air drop operation alongside the UAE, Qatar, France, and Jordan.

The mission aimed to directly deliver aid to the populace by dropping supplies onto the Gaza Strip’s coast without the use of guided parachute systems, requiring the aircraft to fly at low altitudes.

The aid parcels contained essential relief materials and food supplies, including high-nutritional-value ready meals, to mitigate the suffering of Gaza’s residents amidst challenging circumstances.

One of the planes was specifically designated to supply the Jordanian field hospital located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, which has been facing a severe shortage of basic supplies.

The hospital was provided with medical and relief materials, health necessities, and fuel.
