The Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Sunday that the number of Palestinian fatalities in the West Bank has increased to 398 since October 7, including 79 since the beginning of the year, according to agencies.

The ministry had previously reported a significant rise in the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, with 28,985 fatalities and 68,883 injuries since October 7 last year.

In its statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry highlighted that the Israeli military committed 13 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 127 deaths and 205 injuries in the past 24 hours alone.

The Israeli occupation continues its intensive and unprecedented assault on the Gaza Strip by air, land, and sea for the fourth consecutive month, leaving thousands of casualties, predominantly children and women.

This aggressive campaign has resulted in a tragic toll, predominantly affecting the most vulnerable populations, including children and women, exacerbating the longstanding turmoil in the region.

This surge in casualties comes amid a backdrop of a decades-long conflict between Israel and Palestine, characterized by territorial disputes, political tensions, and recurring cycles of violence.
