Sergei Naryshkin, Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, reported on Monday that the United States has initiated efforts to establish a colonial administration in Ukraine that operates in its interest. He asserted that Washington has demanded Kiev to sideline leaders opposing U.S. interests.

According to Naryshkin’s statement, this administration will consist of Ukrainian figures trained in the West who have pledged allegiance to American interests. He added, “Dozens of high-level officials from Zelensky’s team are on Washington’s undesirable list for the Ukrainian government.”

Naryshkin noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is aware that evidence in the possession of the United States could end his presidency in Kiev.

Previously, on Thursday, December 14, Naryshkin reported that the West acknowledges the failure of Ukrainian military operations but remains determined to use Ukraine to harm Russia.

Addressing journalists in Minsk, Naryshkin stated, “Western politicians and leaders understand the failure of the so-called summer and autumn (counter-offensive) attack launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against Russian forces. Despite this, they are unwilling to abandon their hypocritical strategy of using Ukraine as a consumable material to inflict maximum damage on Russia.”

According to Naryshkin, the West “will, of course, attempt to maintain an anti-Russian regime in Ukraine under their control and will try to continue developing Ukraine in a military sense.”

Relations between Moscow and Western capitals have deteriorated to their lowest levels due to Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022. This has led numerous Western countries to impose unprecedented sanctions on Russia.

These countries have also provided substantial financial and military support to the Kiev regime, aiming to hinder the objectives of the operation, which include disarming Ukraine, eliminating threats from its territory to Russian security, protecting the population of the Donbas region, forcing Ukraine into military neutrality, and eradicating Nazi tendencies within the country.
