A wedding in Tuscany, Italy, turned into a disaster on Saturday after a 15th-century monastery collapsed, injuring 33 people and sending more than 100 emergency workers to the scene.

The bride and groom were among those injured in the collapse, which occurred as they were celebrating their wedding at the monastery in the town of Pistoia.

The monastery, which dates back to the 15th century, was being used as a venue for the wedding. The collapse caused a large hole in the ground, and guests were thrown several meters into the air.

Several people were seriously injured in the collapse, and five were in critical condition, according to Eugenio Giani, the governor of Tuscany.

The cause of the collapse is still under investigation, but Giani said that the monastery had been undergoing renovations at the time of the incident.

The collapse is a tragic reminder of the dangers of old buildings, and it is a reminder that it is important to have them inspected regularly for safety.
