The Gaza Health Ministry reported on Sunday that the death toll has risen to almost 23,000 people amidst Israel’s prolonged offensive on Palestine, marking a devastating toll on the civilian population. Additionally, the conflict has forced nearly 2 million people to be displaced from their homes.

The Gaza Health Ministry released a statement, stating, “The Israeli aggression toll rises to 22,835 dead and 58,416 injuries since October 7.”

In a distressing development, the Palestine Red Crescent Society revealed on Saturday that its first responders faced challenges reaching a pregnant woman trapped alongside disabled and elderly individuals due to obstacles imposed by Israel’s occupation forces.

Videos posted online by the human rights group depicted its volunteers providing medical assistance to injured civilians under challenging circumstances, illuminated only by flashlights during the darkness of the night. Meanwhile, at least nine people lost their lives in the occupied West Bank on Sunday, further highlighting the widespread impact of the conflict on Palestinian territories.
