The ministry also expressed hopes for a swift recovery for those injured in the aftermath of the earthquake.

Western Japan experienced a series of powerful earthquakes, leaving at least 55 people dead and causing extensive damage to numerous buildings, vehicles, and boats.

Authorities have issued warnings of possible additional earthquakes in the region. A magnitude 7.6 temblor struck Ishikawa prefecture and surrounding areas, with aftershocks continuing to impact the region.

The extent of the damage is significant, and initial assessments have revealed the destruction of tens of thousands of homes.

The UAE’s message of condolence reflects a shared sense of grief and solidarity with Japan during this challenging time.
