On Tuesday, Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva arrived in Saudi Arabia, embarking on an official visit to the Kingdom to bolster diplomatic and economic relations.
The distinguished arrival was met with a cordial welcome from Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, and his accompanying delegation at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The visit is set against the backdrop of a robust trade partnership between the two nations. Notably, Brazilian exports to Saudi Arabia have surged, reaching an impressive $1.87 billion during the initial seven months of the year. This figure stands out as the highest among all Arab countries, underscoring the strength and vitality of the economic ties between Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
Simultaneously, Brazilian imports from the Kingdom have also witnessed a notable increase, standing at $1.98 billion. This reciprocal trade flow highlights the mutual benefits derived from the enduring collaboration between Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
