Colonel Thaer Al-Khatib, the Force Commander of the Jordanian Military Field Hospital in Gaza/76, provided an update on Sunday, revealing that the hospital had admitted 163 cases.
Over the previous week (November 5 – 11, 2023), the hospital handled a total of 817 cases, addressing diverse medical situations arising from visits and injuries, both direct and indirect, resulting from the airstrikes in Gaza.
Responding to concerns prompted by an image circulating of a closed hospital gate, Colonel Al-Khatib clarified that the depicted gate is currently inactive, with other entrances remaining open to facilitate ongoing patient admissions.
Furthermore, he emphasized that, in alignment with the directives of the Jordanian king, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Jordanian Armed Forces executed a successful parachute landing of medical supplies on Sunday.
This marks the second delivery, ensuring the continuous availability of essential medications and medical resources to support the hospital’s critical role in Gaza.
