The President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manfi, condemned on Tuesday the Israeli occupation’s massacres, including the recent targeting of the Jabalia camp, designated by the United Nations as a humanitarian refuge, densely populated with innocent civilians. These acts are seen as part of a policy of revenge, collective punishment, and a challenge to United Nations resolutions.

In a post on his “X” account, Al-Manfi called for “unilateral measures to ensure the flow of medical, food, and fuel aid to civilians, hospitals, and the protection of international organizations’ premises in all sectors of Gaza.”

He emphasized support for the efforts of Egypt and Qatar to achieve a fair and comprehensive settlement of the prisoner issue and other humanitarian matters in the occupied entity.

Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the toll of Israeli airstrikes on Jabalia camp had “exceeded 400 martyrs and wounded,” with many residents of the targeted residential square still buried under the rubble.

Eyewitnesses said that a “major massacre occurred in Jabalia camp,” which has the highest population density in the strip, noting that an entire residential block was completely destroyed. They also confirmed that the number of casualties in the Jabalia massacre cannot be counted, given the hundreds trapped under the rubble, mostly women and children.
