The Saudi Defense Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, reached out via a phone call on Tuesday to extend his congratulations to Sheikh Ahmad Fahd Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on his recent appointment as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense in Kuwait.

The call served as a platform to review and reflect on the fraternal relations that exist between the two brotherly nations, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The leaders seized the opportunity to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination in military and defense matters. Additionally, they engaged in discussions on various topics of mutual interest.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait share a long history of close and cooperative relations, rooted in shared cultural, religious, and geographical ties.

Both countries are key members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), a political and economic alliance of six Middle Eastern countries.
