Reports from Palestinian sources on Wednesday confirm the tragic deaths of nearly 50 Palestinians, with dozens more wounded, as Israel launched a series of nighttime attacks on various areas within the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Interior Ministry reported that some of the most devastating airstrikes targeted residential neighborhoods in areas near Jabalia town in the northern part of the enclave.
These airstrikes resulted in the tragic deaths of at least 37 people, including children and women.
Local sources also noted that an Israeli airstrike struck a bakery in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, leading to the death of three individuals and injuring more than 15 others.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, over 3,200 Palestinians have lost their lives, with more than 11,000 wounded, the majority being children and women, due to Israel’s ongoing attacks on the Gaza Strip since the beginning of this month.
Recent Israeli attacks have somewhat subsided in the past few hours following the extensive casualties caused by the bombing of the Al-Muadamiyah Hospital, which had been sheltering thousands of displaced civilians.
This incident has sparked widespread condemnation from Palestinians, Arabs, and the international community.
For the first time since the escalation began, the Israeli military hinted at the possibility of allowing humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, on the condition that it be limited to a specific area.
The military instructed Gaza residents to move to the designated “humanitarian zone” in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
This area is mentioned as the potential location for the delivery of international humanitarian assistance in times of necessity.
