A tragic incident in Nottingham has resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including two students, causing shock and concern among local residents in the central English city.

Nottinghamshire Police have announced the arrest of a 31-year-old man on suspicion of murder in connection with the major incident.

In an updated statement, the police stated that they are maintaining an “open mind” regarding the motive behind what they have described as a “city attack.” They also confirmed their collaboration with counter-terrorism officers to establish all the facts surrounding the case.

An eyewitness, Lynn Haggitt, recounted her observation to the BBC, revealing that she witnessed a white van intentionally colliding with “these two people” during her morning commute on Tuesday.
