Lebanese media outlets reported on Sunday the martyrdom of three civilians in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle near the town of Ainata in southern Lebanon.

The reports elucidated that a drone belonging to the Israeli occupying forces hit a civilian car in the town of Ainata.

Earlier in the day, Hebrew media outlets reported a direct hit by an anti-armor missile on a vehicle in the Yiftah settlement on the Israel-Lebanon border.

According to the “Times of Israel”, an anti-tank-guided missile from Lebanon struck a car near the northern town of Yiftah. Several Hebrew media outlets mentioned that at least one person was injured in the strike.

The incident escalates the ongoing tensions between Lebanon and Israel, highlighting the fragile security situation along the border.
