Russian media reported that Russian airstrikes targeted militant equipment repair centers in Syria on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of over 20 militants.
Vadim Kulit, the Deputy Head of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, stated, “In response to continuous shelling by illegitimate armed groups on Syrian government positions and civilian facilities, the Russian Air Force conducted three airstrikes in the past 24 hours, targeting a base for repairing armored vehicles belonging to the militants.”
As a result of the airstrikes, more than 20 militants were eliminated, along with hideouts, tank repair workshops, two vehicles, and approximately 10 small trucks.
The Russian airstrikes in Syria come as part of an ongoing conflict in the region. Militant groups have been involved in clashes with Syrian government forces, and these groups have often targeted government positions and civilian infrastructure. In response to these attacks, Russian forces have conducted precision airstrikes on militant facilities to disrupt their operations.
The situation in Syria remains complex, with various armed factions vying for control of different territories. Russian involvement in the conflict, in support of the Syrian government, has had a significant impact on the course of the war. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely and seek a peaceful resolution to the Syrian conflict.
