Reuters, citing security sources on Wednesday, reported the death of two individuals in an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle on the Tyre-Naqoura road in southern Lebanon.

The National News Agency of Lebanon stated that the Israeli strike on the Tyre road hit a car and a motorcycle.

Israeli media reported on Wednesday that several rockets were fired from Lebanon towards the Golan Heights.

Israeli strikes on Tuesday targeted the vicinity of two towns in eastern Lebanon, which the Israeli military claimed were aimed at “command centers” belonging to Hezbollah, resulting in at least one fatality and ten injuries, according to a security source.

These Israeli strikes followed Hezbollah’s announcement that it had launched dozens of rockets towards Israeli military sites in response to bombings near the city of Baalbek, a stronghold of Hezbollah in eastern Lebanon, the night before.

Cross-border shelling between the Israeli military and Hezbollah has been almost daily since the outbreak of the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas on October 7 last year.
