16 People Killed in a Car Accident in Syria

Sixteen people were killed in the early hours of today as a result of a car accident on the Homs-Tadmur road near the Al-Jamilah village intersection in the eastern countryside of Homs in Syria.

Colonel Mahdoub Al-Mawdi, the director of the Civil Defense in Homs, stated to “SANA” that the operations room received a call regarding trapped individuals in two vehicles following a collision near Al-Jamilah village intersection. The rescue teams immediately rushed to the scene.

Al-Mawdi explained that after rescuing the trapped individuals, it was discovered that 16 people had lost their lives, including women and children. The bodies were transferred to hospitals in Homs, and the accident site was cleared.
