The Yemeni embassy in Egypt announced on Sunday the death of Major General Hassan bin Jalal Al-Abidi, the Director of the Military Manufacturing Department at the Ministry of Defense, who was found dead in his apartment in Cairo. The embassy stated in a press release that it is closely and carefully following the matter of Major General Hassan Al-Abidi’s death.
From the moment the embassy received the report, it assigned specialists to conduct field investigations and communicate with all relevant security authorities in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The embassy confirmed that it is following the results of the investigations and the forensic autopsy to ascertain the truth of the tragic incident. It also appealed to all media outlets to ensure accuracy in their reporting and to avoid succumbing to rumors until the final results are obtained from the competent authorities.
