US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, stated, “100 days in captivity in Gaza is far too long. The United States will not rest until all remaining hostages, including six Americans, are reunited with their loved ones.” He made this statement in a tweet posted on the X platform.

On another note, US President Joe Biden expressed his hope for continued communications with leaders from Egypt, Qatar, and Israel to secure the release of detainees in Gaza. In a statement released by the White House on the occasion of the 100th day since the Gaza conflict, Biden mentioned, “US efforts have not ceased to secure the release of more than 100 detainees, including 6 Americans.”

President Biden also noted that during Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s recent Middle East tour, discussions were held on ways to move forward toward an agreement for the release of the remaining detainees.
