American officials reported by ABC News say that Iran has prepared 100 cruise missiles for a potential strike against Israel, with indications suggesting Iran may be ready to attack Israel with missile and drone strikes.

Two American officials stated that Iran has prepared over 100 cruise missiles for a potential strike against Israel. Additionally, a significant number of drones were prepared last week, which could be used to carry out attacks on Israel.

Meanwhile, a US defense official in Washington clarified that the United States is sending reinforcements to the Middle East amid growing concerns of an imminent Iranian attack on Israel.

The official added that they are additional resources to the region to bolster regional deterrence efforts and enhance the protection of US forces.

Two American officials told CNN that the United States will attempt to intercept any missile launched at Israel if possible.

A US intelligence official affirmed that Iran would carry out strikes against multiple targets inside Israel and throughout the region, suggesting that Iranian proxies may participate in executing these attacks.

The official told CNN that the conflict between Iran and Israel could escalate dangerously, something the United States had hoped to avoid.

Meanwhile, General Eric Korilla, commander of US Central Command, held several meetings with Israeli security leaders, meeting on Friday with the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces, Lt. Gen. Hertzi Halevi.

Israeli officials stated that the commander of US Central Command extended his stay in Israel for another day.
