According to Axios, the discussions also touched on the nearly final versions of strategic agreements between Saudi Arabia and the United States, signaling a nearing completion.
“The focus was on finding a credible path towards a two-state solution that meets the aspirations and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the need to end the war in Gaza and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid,” the U.S. official added.
