Since the announcement of the terrorist attack on Moscow last Friday, Ukraine has consistently denied any connection to what happened.
“No connection for us.”
The Ukrainian presidency has repeatedly announced its lack of connection to the attack, even reiterating it today.
The advisor to the Ukrainian presidency, Mikhail Podoliak, said in a statement to “Al Arabiya/Al Hadath” on Sunday that his country has no connection to the terrorist attack that targeted the “Krokus” center in the suburbs of Moscow last Friday evening, when gunmen opened fire on the audience in the hall from close range, resulting in the deaths of more than 152 citizens.
He also emphasized that Kyiv does not carry out any terrorist operations against Russia despite its targeting of civilians, according to him.
He added that the attackers in Moscow could not enter Ukraine, noting that the horrific attack concerns only the Russians and has no connection to Kyiv or its perpetrators.
He saw that what he called the “terrorist operation” in Moscow does not serve Ukraine’s interests, pointing out that Russia is currently attacking Ukrainian territory violently.
He confirmed the presence of half a million Russian fighters in Ukraine currently.
152 Victims
It is noted that a number of gunmen stormed the “Krokus” center in the suburbs of Moscow last Friday evening and opened fire on the audience in the hall from close range, resulting in the deaths of more than 152 citizens.
The Russian Federal Security Service said its director, Alexander Bortnikov, informed President Vladimir Putin of the arrest of 11 people, including 4 terrorists directly involved in the attack on the “Krokus” commercial center.
Also, 11 people involved in the attack, including all four direct perpetrators of the attack, were arrested.
While Russian President Vladimir Putin announced in a televised speech yesterday, Saturday, that preliminary information indicates that the Ukrainian side was preparing a “window” for the attackers to cross the border, and promised to identify and punish all those behind it, declaring today, March 24, a national day of mourning in the country.
