In a pivotal phone conversation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Tania Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Slovenia, explored the evolving situation in the Middle East and its humanitarian implications.
According to a report by the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on Saturday, the ministers emphasized the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to achieve a sustainable ceasefire and prioritize the protection of all civilians to prevent further deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The ministers underscored the need for amplified international efforts to end the escalating tension and violence in the region. They also highlighted the significance of enhancing the humanitarian response to meet the needs of the residents of Gaza and intensifying relief and medical aid for civilians affected by the current crisis.
The discussion also covered the exploration of bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
The UAE Foreign Minister expressed his country’s eagerness to work with Slovenia to expand joint cooperation towards broader horizons of growth and development in all fields. This collaboration is aimed at supporting the developmental aspirations of both nations and bringing benefits to their peoples.
