The UAE Embassy in Paris has urged its citizens residing in the French Republic to exercise caution and stay away from protest areas. The embassy emphasized the importance of following the safety instructions issued by the French authorities and advised citizens to contact the emergency hotline at 0097180024 or 0097180044444. It also recommended registering for the embassy’s presence service.

In a tweet, the embassy wrote, “The UAE Embassy in Paris advises its citizens present in the French Republic to exercise caution and stay away from protest areas,” adding, “We emphasize the importance of following the safety instructions issued by the French authorities and contacting the emergency hotline at 0097180024 or 0097180044444. Register for the embassy’s presence service.”

The French police have started evacuating the famous Place de la Concorde in the center of Paris after an unplanned protest broke out, amidst disturbances throughout the country following the shooting of a young man by the police.
