The third shipment of aid from the UAE, totalling 4,630 tonnes of humanitarian supplies, recently reached the Port of Al Arish under Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3” aimed at assisting the Palestinian populace in the Gaza Strip.

The cargo consisted of food, medical items, children’s formula, materials for shelter, winter attire, and other essentials.

This initiative, directed by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is part of the Emirates Red Crescent’s (ERC) efforts to support Gaza’s residents.

Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, the ERC’s Secretary-General, stated upon the ship’s arrival that the delivery is part of a larger mission to address the humanitarian needs in Gaza, with plans for efficient distribution in the hardest-hit regions.

The aid, which left from the Port of Fujairah on March 23, included a significant amount of food, shelter materials, medical supplies, and various tanks, provided by ERC along with contributions from the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.

This delivery continues the UAE’s commitment to relieving the hardships faced by Gaza’s civilians through Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3”.

In the same vein, Egypt sent more than 90 trucks to the Al-Awja crossing to complete vetting procedures before entering Gaza, media outlets.

The Cairo News correspondent at the Kerem Abu Salem crossing pointed out that there are persistent Egyptian efforts to deliver aid to Gaza amid Israeli obstacles.

Aid trucks lined up at the Al-Auja crossing, awaiting inspection procedures before entering Gaza.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi delivered a resolute speech on Saturday, asserting Egypt’s unwavering determination to bring an end to the ongoing hostilities in the Gaza Strip, which have persisted for over six months.
