In an announcement made on Friday, Yuri Ushakov, Assistant to the President of Russia, stated that the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will arrive in St. Petersburg today to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin ahead of the plenary session of the St. Petersburg Forum.
Ushakov stated, “On June 16th, President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates will arrive in St. Petersburg. He will hold a meeting with President Putin to discuss forum-related matters. The leaders will address current international and regional issues, as well as bilateral relations.”
Furthermore, Ushakov added, “Since the UAE is the main guest of the forum, there will be a representative delegation comprising ministers and business community representatives.”
Ushakov emphasized that the relationship between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is based on trust. The leaders have developed a trustworthy and constructive relationship.
