The ninth batch of Palestinian children, who are either wounded or suffering from cancer, has arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport to receive treatment in hospitals across the United Arab Emirates. This initiative is in accordance with the directives of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as part of an evacuation plan adopted several weeks ago, aiming to treat 2,000 children affected by injuries and cancer.
The UAE medical authorities reported that 2,644 individuals have been treated at the UAE field hospital in Gaza, while the volume of Emirati humanitarian aid has reached 15,000 tons of food supplies, and 1.2 million gallons of drinking water daily for over 600,000 people.
Since the beginning of the war on October 7, the toll from Israeli bombings and ground operations in Gaza has amounted to 27,019 casualties, predominantly women and children, with 66,139 injured. The war in Gaza has entered its 119th day, with ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the territory amidst severe clashes on multiple fronts and a dire humanitarian situation.
