UAE & Egypt Carry Out 15th Airdrop of Humanitarian Aid in Gaza

Aid being dropped to Northern Gaza by Egyptian and Emirati military aircraft on 6 Mar 2024

The Joint Operations Command at the Ministry of Defence announced the execution of the 15th “Birds of Goodness” humanitarian airdrop operation over the northern Gaza Strip.

This operation was conducted by joint teams belonging to the air forces of the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The airdrops were carried out over isolated areas in northern Gaza that are inaccessible by conventional means.

Two aircraft transported 33 tons of food and relief supplies, bringing the total aid dropped since the launch of the “Birds of Goodness” operation to 574 tons of food and relief items.

The “Birds of Goodness” operation is part of the “Gallant Knight 3” initiative to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the UAE has intensified its efforts, with contributions from governmental, non-governmental, and charitable institutions in the country. T

These include the Emirates Red Crescent, Khalifa Foundation, tThe Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation, and other humanitarian and charitable institutions in the UAE.
