The UAE continues its humanitarian support for the Palestinian people through “Operation Knight 3,” focusing on providing essential aid to children and women in the Gaza Strip to meet their basic needs.
Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, Deputy Secretary-General of the UAE Red Crescent, emphasized that the organization, in collaboration with relevant entities, is consistently preparing aid baskets for children and women.
These baskets include all the essential supplies necessary to meet their needs, forming part of the daily humanitarian and food assistance sent to Gaza, especially in the northern region.
Al Junaibi highlighted that the provision of these aid baskets is part of the comprehensive relief efforts undertaken by the UAE to supply humanitarian aid to Gaza.
This aid reaches Gaza through aerial drops announced regularly by the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defense, or via UAE aid convoys entering through the Rafah border crossing.
He stressed the commitment to securing relief and food assistance that meets the needs of all segments of the Palestinian people, especially women and children.
These baskets are provided alongside other comprehensive baskets that include all necessary relief and food items.
The UAE is among the world’s leading countries in providing assistance to the Gaza Strip, reflecting the leadership’s directives to support the Palestinian people during this humanitarian crisis and showcasing the nation’s leadership in global humanitarian efforts.
Al Junaibi also mentioned that preparations are underway for Eid clothing, aiming to deliver it to the Gaza Strip.
He affirmed that the UAE Red Crescent and all relevant Emirati institutions are working closely to continuously and sustainably provide the necessary humanitarian support to the Palestinian people.
