Ahead of the upcoming 33rd Arab Summit, scheduled for May 16 and under the auspices of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the leaders express optimism for constructive outcomes that enhance Arab solidarity and unity.
Anticipating the summit’s potential, they aim for advancements in the Arab world’s capabilities, safeguarding national security, and promoting progress and sustainable development.
Emphasizing diplomacy over military escalation, both sides advocate for peaceful resolutions through dialogue and negotiation, urging the international community to facilitate an immediate ceasefire in Gaza for humanitarian relief.
Echoing a call for a just and comprehensive regional peace, they endorse the two-state solution for Palestinians, underscoring the importance of international efforts toward this end.
Highlighting the significance of ongoing consultation and coordination, the leaders affirm a unified strategic vision to serve their countries’ interests, strengthen Gulf and Arab bonds, and promote global cooperation in fostering peace and human fraternity.
