In a bid to enhance user experience, Telegram, the rapidly growing messaging application, has extended the capability for channel owners to publish temporary photos and video content. This move closely mirrors the ‘stories’ feature prevalent in other prominent social media platforms.

Previously, the story feature was exclusive to individual users. However, with this recent update, channel owners now have the liberty to use this feature. They can broadcast ongoing events, promotions, or any content they deem worth sharing with their followers for a short span of 24 hours.

For those curious about utilizing this feature, here’s a brief on how it works:
Channel administrators would begin by opening the Telegram application. Upon navigating to their respective channel, a ‘story’ button is conveniently placed at the bottom of the interface. Once accessed, they can either snap a picture or record a video clip. To make stories more engaging, users can overlay them with comments, stickers, or emojis. After the desired adjustments, a simple tap on the ‘publish’ button would make the content live.

Diving deeper into the functionality, Telegram’s story operates on similar lines as its counterparts on other platforms. Users have granular control over their audience. They can decide whether their stories are visible to all, specific contacts, or just a curated list of close friends.

Furthermore, in its commitment to innovate, Telegram has introduced another intriguing feature dubbed “view once.” This allows users to share images or videos that automatically vanish post-viewing, restricting recipients from saving them or taking screenshots. Complementing this, the application offers myriad editing tools. Users can not only modify their images and videos but also embed textual content. They can enrich stories by adding links or tagging other users through their unique identifiers.

With this new venture, Telegram continues to push boundaries, positioning itself as a dynamic force in the world of instant messaging and digital communication. The emphasis is clear – to offer a richer, more versatile platform, while paying heed to user preferences and ensuring secure, private conversations.
