Swedish Defense Minister, Bal Johnson, announced on Tuesday that Sweden plans to provide a new military aid package to Ukraine valued at 3.4 billion krona ($313.5 million), primarily consisting of ammunition and spare parts for weapons systems sent previously.

During a press conference, Johnson stated, “We must remain prepared for the reality that this could be a long-term war and have a long-term vision so that we can continuously reinforce these platforms that we send to Ukraine.”

The new military aid package will be the thirteenth that Sweden has sent to Ukraine since the onset of the war, bringing the total value of Swedish military support to approximately 20 billion krona.
