Today, the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, held discussions in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
They discussed the current situation in Sudan and explored ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations, aiming to develop them in all areas that serve the common interests of both fraternal peoples.
According to a statement from the Transitional Sovereignty Council, the meeting addressed the evolving situation in Sudan and the efforts being made to find a solution to the crisis.
Salva Kiir emphasized his commitment to achieving peace and stability in Sudan, ensuring its unity and security.
He also reiterated his country’s support for all efforts aimed at finding a solution to the Sudanese issue.
