Senegal, the defending champions of the Africa Cup of Nations, have named their 27-man squad for the 2023 tournament, which will be held in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11.
The Lions of Teranga will face Cameroon, Gambia, and Guinea in Group C. They will be looking to defend their title after winning the 2022 tournament in Cameroon, beating Egypt on penalties.
The squad is led by captain Kalidou Koulibaly and star striker Sadio Mane, who plays for Liverpool in the Premier League. Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, who also plays for Liverpool, is also included.
