Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense reports that a Tornado fighter jet crashed during a routine training exercise at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran. Both crew members survived, and there are no reported casualties on the ground.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense confirmed the crash of a Tornado fighter jet during a training mission in the Eastern Province. The incident, which occurred on Monday evening, was reported by the Saudi official news agency (WAS). Fortunately, the crew survived the crash, and no injuries or damage on the ground were reported.

Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, said, “One of the Royal Saudi Air Force’s Tornado fighter jets crashed during a routine training exercise in the training area affiliated with King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran.”
An investigative committee has been formed to determine the cause of the accident, according to the spokesperson.
