Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, advisor to the royal court and supervisor general of the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Relief, said that the Saudi aid center is a civilized face for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of international humanitarian work, and has become a focus of attention for the world.
Al-Rabiah said, according to the Saudi news channel Al-Ekhbariya on Friday, that the center’s humanitarian and relief projects have reached 95 countries through 2,670 projects covering various sectors of humanitarian support in cooperation with 175 partners with a total value of 6 billion and 515 million US dollars.
The Saudi official added that the center has expanded, with the support of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in all areas of humanitarian assistance and the volume of aid that the Kingdom has provided to beneficiary countries, stressing the center’s ongoing efforts to develop its mechanisms and improve its humanitarian work structure in response to the aspirations of the leadership and to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 to promote humanitarian volunteer work in the Kingdom.
