Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed a high-level delegation of U.S. senators at a winter camp in AlUla on Saturday, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The delegation included Senator Mark Warner, Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Angus King from Maine, Senator John Cornyn from Texas, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand from New York, Senator Jon Ossoff from Delaware, and Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona.
The meeting focused on reinforcing bilateral friendship and exploring avenues of cooperation between the two nations, alongside discussing various issues of mutual interest.
The reception was attended by several notable Saudi dignitaries, including Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, and Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Advisor. Khalid bin Ali Al Humaidan, Head of General Intelligence, was also present.
From the American side, Michael Ratney, the U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, attended the meeting.
