Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call today (Friday) from France’s Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna.

The ministers discussed the recent military escalation in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the importance of an immediate ceasefire and enabling humanitarian and relief organizations to deliver urgent assistance to Gaza.

The conversation also covered the necessity of supporting political solutions to end the crisis in accordance with relevant international resolutions and putting a stop to the forced displacement of Palestinians.

Additionally, the call provided an opportunity for both ministers to review the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and explore ways to enhance them in various fields. They also discussed regional and international developments of mutual interest.
