Saudi Arabia delivered the second installment of its monthly financial support to Palestine on Monday, as Naif Al-Sudairi, Saudi ambassador to Jordan and non-resident ambassador to Palestine, handed over the aid to Palestinian Finance Minister Omar Bitar at the Saudi embassy in Amman.
This financial aid is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Al-Sudairi reiterated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to mobilizing all resources to support the Palestinian cause politically, economically, and socially, while affirming its unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
This installment follows the first, which was delivered to Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa on September 29 at a ceremony held at the embassy. Over the years, Saudi Arabia has provided $5.3 billion in humanitarian, relief, and development aid to Palestine.
