The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed condemnation of the continuing atrocities committed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip. The latest of these war crimes includes the discovery of mass graves at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the strip.
In its statement, the Ministry highlighted the international community’s failure to activate mechanisms for holding Israel accountable for violations of international law, stating that such inaction will only lead to further violations and exacerbate humanitarian tragedies and destruction.
The Ministry reiterated Saudi Arabia’s call for the international community to take responsibility for halting Israeli aggressions against civilians in Gaza and to hold the state accountable for the massacres it has committed.
Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, expressed optimism about the stability and security of the region’s countries in his remarks to “Al Arabiya/Al Hadath”.
His comments came on the sidelines of his participation in the inauguration of a high-level forum on security and regional cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the European Union, held in Luxembourg.
This statement underscores Saudi Arabia’s stance and its calls for greater international intervention and accountability in the ongoing conflict in Gaza, emphasizing the need for a concerted global effort to address and mitigate the violations occurring in the region.
