Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed that a recent large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine has resulted in four fatalities and 92 injuries.

Zelenskyy highlighted the extensive use of nearly 170 Shahed drones and numerous missiles by Russian forces since December 31, with a significant number targeting civilian facilities.

Expressing gratitude to international partners aiding in strengthening Ukraine’s air defenses, Zelenskyy emphasized the crucial role of systems like the Patriot anti-aircraft system in saving lives.

He underscored that ongoing collaboration with global allies is essential to fortify Ukraine’s air shield and hold Russia accountable for its actions.

Zelenskyy pledged to work with nations worldwide “who value life” to enhance Ukraine’s air defenses, emphasizing the importance of imposing consequences on Russia for its actions. In his concluding remarks, the Ukrainian President asserted that the “terrorist state must feel the consequences of what it is doing.”
