Russian ambassador to Argentina Dmitry Feoktistov has cautioned Argentina that any potential transfer of military equipment to Ukraine would be considered unfriendly.

Feoktistov expressed concern over reports suggesting Argentina might transport tanks through Germany, similar to the aircraft transfer via France.

He emphasized that such actions would be seen as directly hostile toward Russia, indicating that the military equipment could be used against Russian soldiers.

“We hope that Argentina will demonstrate its traditional respect and refrain from intervening in the conflict in Ukraine. This would allow us to maintain friendly relations between Russia and Argentina,” Feoktistov added.

Earlier, Argentine news portal InfoBae reported discussions about transferring five “Super Etendard” fighter jets to Ukraine.

Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondino reportedly engaged in talks on this matter with her French counterpart and White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, with Argentine President Javier Milei reportedly supporting the transfer.

Additionally, Cronista newspaper reported earlier talks regarding the transfer of Argentine-made TAM tanks, designed by Germany for Argentina, to Ukraine.

This diplomatic exchange comes amid heightened tensions over international arms support in the ongoing Ukraine conflict.
