The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the sending of five planes to the city of Al-Arish in Egypt carrying 156 tons of humanitarian aid for the residents of the Gaza Strip.

This aid includes food supplies from the Qatar Fund for Development and Qatar Charity, part of an ongoing effort to deliver these necessities to Gaza.

This shipment brings the total to 27 aircraft dispatched by Qatar, delivering a cumulative 910 tons of assistance.

These efforts are part of Qatar’s commitment to support the Palestinian people during the current challenging humanitarian conditions.

In a similar vein, the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, in partnership with the UK-based international relief organization Human Appeal and in cooperation with Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Jordanian Armed Forces/Air Force and security agencies, sent another aid plane to Gaza, coordinated with Egypt.

The Jordanian agency highlighted that the aircraft carries 45 tons of medical supplies, food, and clothing. These items will be handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent at Al-Arish Airport for transport to Gaza through the Rafah Crossing, to be distributed by relevant authorities in the health sector and to the residents of Gaza.

Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, mentioned that the organization collaborates with various local, regional, and international humanitarian groups to intensify the dispatch of medical and relief aid in various forms to meet the reported needs.

Al-Shibli emphasized the organization’s efforts to coordinate Gaza’s needs through official and partnering entities inside and outside the region, ensuring the provision of essential requirements.

The total number of planes sent to support the people in Gaza since the onset of the crisis has now reached 11, carrying medical materials, medicines, food, and relief supplies.
