Addressing climate change solutions, President Duda stressed the necessity of persistent climate protection efforts and modernizing the energy sector.
He discussed Poland’s unique climate conditions, which make wind and solar power unreliable, advocating for stable energy alternatives, including nuclear power, to meet Poland’s substantial energy demands and support its heavy industries.
Furthermore, he underscored the importance of renewable energy in Poland’s energy strategy and mentioned the country’s progress in building a nuclear power plant, a key topic discussed at COP28.
