The Muslim World League has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of numerous individuals.
In a statement released by its secretariat, the League reaffirmed its stance against all forms and justifications of violence and terrorism.
The organisation expressed full solidarity with Afghanistan and its people, emphasising their support in the face of threats to the country’s security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
The League’s condemnation underscores the global commitment to combating terrorism and supporting nations affected by such violence.
In the same vein, the UN Security Council issued a strong condemnation of the recent terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital, which took place last Monday.
In a press statement, the Security Council denounced the “heinous” attack and expressed its deep concern over terrorism’s ongoing threat to peace and security, not only in Afghanistan but globally.
The council emphasised the importance of bringing the perpetrators, organizers, and sponsors of these acts to justice, calling for cooperation from all UN member states in accordance with international law and Security Council resolutions.
Reiterating its stance, the council affirmed that acts of terrorism are “criminal and unjustifiable” regardless of their motivation or the circumstances under which they occur.
