The institutional twinning between Morocco and the European Union in the field of youth was launched on Monday in a meeting chaired by the Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohammed Mahdi Ben Saïd, and Patricia Llombart Cussac, the EU Ambassador to Morocco.
The institutional twinning between Morocco and the European Union aims to enhance governance and promote innovative initiatives to integrate youth into social life and the job market.
Mohammed Mahdi Ben Saïd, the Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, stated that the twinning between Morocco and the European Union focuses on youth affairs and innovative initiatives for social and economic integration of youth.
In a speech on the occasion, the Moroccan government official emphasized that the initiative reflects the joint desire to create “bridges between our institutions and enhance the exchange and sharing of experiences in order to establish innovative projects that address the challenges faced by young people.”
Ben Saïd stressed the commitment of Morocco and the European Union to sustaining productive relations based on mutual respect, cooperation, and the shared desire to build a better future. He considered the institutional twinning as a result of close cooperation and mutual recognition of common interests in the field of youth.
The Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication emphasized that the institutional twinning between the two sides represents an opportunity to enhance professional relationships and highlighted that the activities included in the program will promote the exchange of knowledge and successful experiences in the field.
In her speech on the occasion, Patricia Llombart Cussac, the EU Ambassador to Morocco, affirmed the importance of the partnership between the two parties, emphasizing that the European Union supports Morocco in achieving economic and social integration for youth.
Cussac added that young people should play a leading role in social and economic life, expressing her hope that the twinning will succeed in providing the necessary and sufficient support to Morocco in achieving its outlined objectives for this workshop.
