Libyan PM Forms New Security Force in Tripoli

Head of Libya’s National Unity Government Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, issued a decision to establish a military entity known as the National Authority for Supporting Forces.

This newly formed entity will have a direct reporting line to the Cabinet.

According to the decision, the entity will consist of members from the support forces of the February 17th Martyrs Brigade.

Its primary purpose will be to reorganise and coordinate these forces, ensuring proper movement and management of their equipment, weapons, and ammunition.

All activities will be carried out in compliance with administrative, legal procedures, and relevant legislation.
