Libya Reopens Border Crossing with Algeria

The Land Ports Management and Operation Centre of the Libyan Ministry of Transportation, based in Tripoli, has announced resuming operations at the Ghadames-Al-Debdeb border crossing with Algeria.

This move is part of preparations for the forthcoming resumption of passenger traffic and enhanced commercial exchange between the two nations.

The decision to reopen the border crossing signifies a significant achievement resulting from the dedicated efforts of the Tripoli Libyan government, particularly the Ministry of Transport.

The primary objective is to alleviate the challenges faced by citizens in terms of movement and to facilitate direct commercial exchanges between Algeria and Libya, eliminating the need for transit through Tunisia.
