The Emergency and Support Medical Center in Libya reported that 64 families have been evacuated from conflict zones in Tajoura following requests from residents.

The center also successfully evacuated eight additional individuals and has established an emergency hotline (1412) for evacuation and medical assistance, ensuring safe passage routes.

Previously, the center urged residents to stay away from the conflict areas in Tajoura and Qara Bully. Fighting in Tajoura, east of Tripoli, involved clashes between the “Ruhba al-Dor” militia and “Sabriah” group. The violence lasted several hours before the “Ruhba al-Dor” militia gained control of the opposing group’s base.

The clashes resulted in nine fatalities, according to the latest update from the Ambulance and Emergency Service announced on Friday evening.
