Jordan Condemns Attack on Egyptian Monks in South Africa

Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has unequivocally condemned a recent brutal attack on three Egyptian monks at a Coptic monastery situated in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Ambassador Sufian Al-Qudah, serving as the spokesperson for the Ministry, delivered a resolute statement expressing Jordan’s solidarity with Egypt. He emphasized the Kingdom’s unwavering stance against all forms of violence, particularly those heinous acts that target innocent civilians and sacred religious institutions.

In an official communication, Ambassador Al-Qudah extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims affected by this deplorable incident. He underscored Jordan’s commitment to standing against such egregious violations of human dignity and religious freedom.

This condemnable assault on the Egyptian monks in South Africa underscores the urgent need for global efforts to combat violence and safeguard the sanctity of religious spaces and individuals.
