Scientists in Japan have successfully created the first ever mind images of objects and landscapes from human brain activity using artificial intelligence technology.

A team of scientists from the National Institute of Quantum Science and Technology and Osaka University, were able to produce a rough image of a tiger using this method.

This technology, dubbed “brain decoding,” allows for the visualization of cognitive content based on brain activity, and could have applications in the medical and social care fields.

The achievement marks a new era in cognitive science and artificial intelligence, offering a window into the human mind’s visual experiences. It paves the way for advanced research and applications that could transform medical diagnostics and therapeutic interventions.
